great ales & wine
Real ales, including our own "The Swan Local" and carefully selected wines and fantastic coffee.
Traditional cuisine with a worldly flair and a daily menu making the most of local ingredients.
The Swan always provides a warm welcome with newspapers, fresh flowers and fantastic coffee.
Ideally situated on the A509 in the heart of Olney, 12 miles from Milton Keynes and Northampton.
Thank you for all your support and patience during this challenging time.
Following the Government’s announcement forcing the closure of pubs, I just wanted to let you know what will happen at The Swan Olney.
I am extremely relieved that all of my staff have been generously supported with 80% of their wages being paid. The HMRC clearly states this morning that in order for anyone to qualify for this scheme they cannot work at all. To protect them and the pub for when we reopen we have no choice but to close down the takeout and delivery offer to you with immediate effect.
I would like to thank every customer, friend and colleague for their loyal support and we can’t wait to reopen and let the good times roll again!
Please stay safe. Andrew
With a building that dates back 400 years, the Swan Inn has recently been taken over and refurbished.

The picturesque English town of Olney is just 15 to 20 minutes from Northampton and Milton Keynes on the A509.
